Blaze 1-Step has a 5% maximum drawdown that trails your highest end-of-day account balance. The drawdown allowance is fixed at 5% of your starting balance. The threshold is updated using your balance at the daily reset, rather than changes in balance or equity during the day. The threshold can move upward but cannot move downward. Once it reaches your starting balance, it stops trailing and remains at that level. Your equity is monitored throughout the day, and touching or falling below the threshold results in a hard breach.
Example: On a $100,000 account, your drawdown allowance is $5,000 and your initial breach level is $95,000. If your highest end-of-day balance increases to $102,000, your breach level moves to $97,000. If your highest end-of-day balance reaches $105,000, the breach level locks at $100,000. When your first payout is approved, your maximum drawdown threshold locks at your original starting balance, if it has not already reached that level.
This applies to both static and trailing drawdown plans. The threshold remains fixed after subsequent payouts, and your equity must remain above it to avoid a hard breach.
